Last night, I had a dream based around Worlds Apart. I was with Trajan Lear on Gethsemane. We were fishing. Oddly, enough.

Words Written Backwards
Yes, still dutifully chugging away at Book 09, although there has been so much going on personally and professionally lately, I feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.
This morning, I wrote this para, which comes in Chapter 13 of Book 09.
That last line is too snarky, I think, to make the final cut. But I notice my narrative has been bumping the fourth wall quite a bit in Book 09. I have to watch that. Probably, it's a trick to try and fake humor when I'm not in a good mood or frame of mind to write something that's actually funny.

David Alkema and Technical Specialist Diamondback lugged a very heavy device into the center of the Control Room. The squat, silvery cylinder was a data module, a miniature version of Pegasus’s braincore, a matrix capable of storing the amount of data generated by one reasonably competent civilization in 500 years. (Insert joke here about the device carrying some multiple of 500 years worth of data generated by the average human civilization.)
